It's a good start, and not something seen everyday, but I want to be able to shoot over the sandbags (I don't know how he's not getting hit in the head all the time). Maybe weapons that have different accuracy/rate of fire. Also, I want to be able to move forward in the game, literally. I want to press W and move up to the next sandbags, like most rail shooters.
People need to learn about game publishing. If you aren't going to have a UI that tells us how to play the game, use the Instructions to do so. It took a few seconds to realize that I have to click on the red circle and move to launch it. Second, the game needs more. All it is, is a high score game. Let us determine the amount of power at least.
Thank you for your feedback. I'm going to fix the instruction problem right now and I will add some content to make the game more enjoyable ! Thanks again, Zekdar.
The stars don't stay on screen long enough and the screen is too zoomed in to adequately plan the moves. It's a good start, but I have to go 3/5 just because it's a too limited by gameplay designs.
Great simple game. Awesome artwork, down pat mechanics, just wish the first few jumps had an aiming arc, just to get used to how much power equals how much distance.
Hi,
Opponent starts with certain number of goals depending of classes of your and his team (as explained in instructions). Aiming was done in the same way as in the old arcade original - your player automatically turns in the direction of the goal, which I find to be handy, but I guess that some players don't like it...
Very buggy, the game doesn't follow the player, enemies float and then drop down right in front of you. Also, way better ways to give out information in a game. Not really a study aid, as a platformer textbook.
I know i'm doing it for my A+ class. it's still in alpha but I wanted any opinions and input for the design. I'm working on the enemy ai, a better system for following the player, menu system, more levels, and better explanations as a learning tool. Thanks for playing, Josh
It's okay, but the difficulty just comes from having to kill all the enemies on a stage, not from actually hard levels. Some of the jumps have to be done from the edge of the platform which can be a bit hard. Also, you can't jump on an enemy when you are flashing after being hit. This makes some levels especially hard to complete, since one hit just leads to death, since you can't jump on them.
It might be his game, just forgetting to take out the lines of code that do this. The uploader's profile is the same website. Alas, the game isn't that good, but the artwork is.
What am I supposed to do? After 5 minutes of cuscenes and click dialog, I just shoot people who can't die in a small area, whilst more, though killable, enemies. And all the time I'm invincible. And this game has a 3.6
