i like it, had to quit around level 135, for those that think its too hard, leave one or to empty wall in front of the attacking barbarians, they go for the nearest wall. this way you can save your units. then go for the range upgrades. invest in two gold mines at the beginning.
i like the story aspects, but the game is too long, it needs a save option. still very nice 5/5
not bad, but not that good either. i think it is overdeterminated in many aspects, limiting the possible choices and tactics. you overall have to play every level according to the developers set up for it, making it boring after a few levels. wold be better with: persistent upgraded, energy based on your outcome on previous levels, less limitations in number of weapons placed on the battlefield, less limitation in upgrade choices. rating: a weak 3/5

well, i would suggest to reduce the enemies bullet speed by a least 30%, to make it somewhat easier to dodge. and the levels are very repetitive, diversify them... 2/5
Excellent music and atmospheric sounds, quite nice one, old school but fine. a sequel less linear and with more degrees of freedom in gameplay would be great. 4/5
looks good, i like the rendered gfx. lots of interesting units. but i would like to see another form of battle than this overused "place your unit one a lane system". it demands fast reactions and does not provide enough room for decent tactical decisions. why not make a nice battelfield to command the units in formation, instead of letting them run with tunnel vision into the enemies. furthermore autobattle is completely dissatisfying, would be good to see some form of calculation or simulated battle. this game has potential, but so far 2/5, sorry
not too bad, but not too good either. i like the sets of units, and that both side do have different ones. suggestions for improvements: both maps could be better: the strategic maps could be larger and resources on every hex should vary. sort of terrain would be god. the tactical map desperately needs some topographic elements e.g. streets, buildings ... with influence on the line of sight and the line of fire. lastly there could be more control over the behavior of your units. so far 3/5 keep it up...
another calculation: lets estimate a daily 300gp income with with a gain of 1gp every day, considering the 30.000gp and the interest rate of 0.5% per day, you need 114 days to repay the loan. thats a least 342 (considering the first area) enemies to beat in a long lasting match-3 game. and there is always one enemy more in every new area. sorry, i got a life to live...
Some calculation: there is an interest rate of 0.5% per day (!) on your "daddys" loan. this accumulates to 15.56% in 30 days, reaching 496.28% in 360 day. your "daddy" sure was in a hurry, rushing to the next loan shark. why not just sell your little boy directly into bond-slavery... ;-)
ok, why ... can't we move sideways to evade these yellow things? ... do the enemies hover like helicopters? ... can we fire only single bullets? .... are the upgrades useless? 1/5
compared with papercups previous contributions, this one has at least rudimentary aspects of a game an not only stupid and offensive text fragments. it is still extremely bad, but who knows, maybe papercup started growing up a bit... 2/5
basicly a good game, but i dont like the straight level designs. i would like to see more space for free roaming and things to explore, maybe some rpg elements, a story, and of course, some school kids with uzis in back for support! 4/5
