Really liking the concept and layout, not far enough to say much more. The scrolling interface is confounding. I'm using a chromebook with its touchpad, moving the cursor to engage with the interface, it seems to scroll at random, sometimes scrolling and sometimes not, don't really understand.
Or, wait, the items equipped when you embark are used in that journey, they affect your stats, but equipping them when in battle does nothing? This is rather confounding.
I like the concept of this, but the thing where you lose all of your equipment when you embark is a pain in the butt. Since you have to unequip prior to embarking, then reequip right after so your character isn't slaughtered and you don't lose everything.
That's a fun short game. Thanks for making it. I'm sure a lot of people will complain about it's length. But there are idle games out there that take a year to get anywhere really interesting, so calm down, will ya' folks?
Pre 1.0e2 patch: Couldn't go an hour before it crashed FireFox
Post 1.0e2 patch: No crashes!
Either it was that or the recent FireFox update or both.
Thanks either way.
I for one, like the new layout. It displays the data, such as % production per building & mana production rate, etc. directly.
Further, the new arrangement feels a bit more fluid after a short time of use.
It strikes me that many of the complaints here are from those that have spent many, many hours playing the old setup & thus were disturbed by the alteration.
One of the most fascinating, yet largely unknown factors of siege warfare, was that if one tilted to ones side slightly, one would have blood gush forth from ones self.
Thanks for flagging this! I confess, I have not tested for touch pad compatibility - definitely something to look into.
