now for the comment i was gonna put before i saw jr637's comment.
They need to fix the crap with the perfect badges, i've done super mario world rock and this way (demo) 5 different times without missing a note, without hitting any extra buttons, and always hitting the notes when they are RIGHT in the center of the bar thing, yet im still only getting gold, it's a great game but i get irritated by a it a LOT. 3/5, maybe 3.5/5 if they had it though.

funny, everyone says this game lags on them even on real fast computers yet the computer im playing on has had 14 different trojan viruses and 100's of others yet i haven't had this game lag once except for when avg was scanning. Really good game and good songs
i liked 1 better, they got a bit lazy with #2. less monster icons, never put in flying units, same names for all the monsters, and even though they dont need to, they didnt put any ultimate tower on this game unlike the last one. On the bright-ish side they have more towers, (even though you dont need half of them, a few funny jokes the monsters do, and slightly better graphics. 4.5/5 if i could but ill just put 5/5 instead
Thumbs up if you think that in protector 5 (if there is one) you should be able to create your own hero to put into battle and level him up (like in protector 3) and give him additional damage or chance to crit etc when he levels up by putting in points. 5 per level maybe. thumbs down if you dont care and you think it's fine the way it is. (im just throwing the idea out there.)
The 15th time i try killing the warrant on heroic and i get death sentence casted on my last guy then the turn after that it has 9 more turns b4 i die so i kill him, get killed 9 turn earlier then i should have lost that battle, and almost punched a hole in my wall......
XD im gonna see if i can get 20 leadership so i can fill all the slots and give each hero 3 guardian bands That'll be 300 extra lives if there's no limit! XD
other then that.... i think p3 and p4 are tied. they're both cool in different ways. in 3 you can level heroes that you can actually put on the battlefield. (by the way level 10 Frostik and in 4, you got a HUGE variety of different units which some of them have pretty good skills. oh, and heres a tip. if you have theives, put them at the end of the map and if the first few waves are weak enough, just let them kill everything and when they level, give them the skill that gives them a 20% steal chance when they kill things. if there are a few more weak waves after that, let them kill monsters until level 2 and give them the damage boost. after that, put units in the beginning, and some might slip past them to the thieves with little health and they could finish them off and get some extra loot for you.
