I had trouble with Every. Single. Level past the third epic stage... until I tried armored only. Then, I consistently got the "get 1800 mana from calling waves early" amulet, and I never ever lost and rarely had any banishment.
Try adding a font rather than just drawing the text-- that'll make it look a lot better. But nice job, and you're helping Stencyl users like me learn to make Flash games! 4/5
Nice first Kong game! I'd suggest making the enemies move slower, but I haven't played it all. Also if you'd like some help with art in future games, I'd be glad to; I've had lots of experience with that. If you don't need any help it's fine :)
At the end of a highly satisfying flight, where I had flown 1,000 feet AND gotten a high-altitude achievement, I go down on a great swan dive to the- WTF HEDGEHOG?
The easy badge should be a medium and the hard badge should be an impossible. I normally get easy badges on my first go on games like this, so it seems like it should be more of a medium. Also the hard badge is hard even for a hard badge.
@gbsn for Diving 2, it's TOTAL, not in one day. So if you dive for 100 feet ten days, you'll get the medal. Rolling over the medal will show you how much you have left. For bouncing, you'll want to go at the water at a low angle, and you should bounce off of it. Some of the challenges are for one day, but I think the most you'll need is ten bounces in one day. That takes some practice, but it's possible. The other bounce challenges are total, such as bouncing 100 times total. Again, you don't have to do those all in one day.
Here are the alternate endings/cutscenes you can get:
Planet crusher- this isn't really an alternate ending, but it is a cutscene. Go up to ~1000 feet (you have to have the best upgrades) and then crush to the ground really fast. You'll also get a medal. If you don't have the best upgrades then you'll probably just get the lamer version of this medal, Skull Crusher.
ICBP- Fly over The Wall. You'll have to be over 450 feet to accomplish this. You'll get a medal for this too. This is overly easy with Omega catalog stuff.
+ this so people can see it and get medals too!
This game is quite finished in my opinion. The only problem is how the learning curve is kind of lopsided. Level 5 is harder than all the levels except the last. These two are the only levels I didn't get on my first try.
The absolute fastest way to beat the number order is: 012345432103142530. I was able to go from 314 to 250 seconds this way. Next time I'm getting 240 ;) Vote this up if it helped you get the hard achieve! Also, for the century and 1 more achievements (which ALWAYS hold me up anyway, grr 10 seconds over T_T) hold the up arrow and follow the moving spike around. Hope it helped!
