I enjoy this game. It doesn't have the sophisticated mechanics of other games, but it's straightforward enough to jump into and retry different tactics
1) If the click-the-clue-to-stay-highlighted doesn't help you, try hovering off-then-on the clue. That makes the clues 'flash' which makes them easier to spot. 2) Try to use the 'edge' clues first i.e the pairs which are the furthest apart.
The learning curve was just right, to me. As soon as I got used to a new puzzle type, a new one would be thrown in - and then the inevitable combination levels. I can't even imagine the amount of planning to just create each level. Well done!
