Good game. I would be nice if it would just tell me I've won once I meet the conditions. Kind of boring to sit there at max speed watching my money and rp rising.
Demo version, so an automatic 1/5. Why do I both pay stars for upgrades, but then have to buy them again each time in the level? I found that very annoying.
A solid core of gameplay and other comments covered the need for upgrades & more to do. I'm disappointed the last boss isn't a shark with a laser beam on its forehead. :)
Great game 5/5! ...even though I won on day 26. The only annoyance I had was that when the adventurers fought a monster in a corner they would occasionally turn around and go back the way they came from. I never saw that happen when they walked down an empty corridor.
Good concept. I have a few suggestions.
1. I like how the screen darkens when I'm fighting off the zombies, but why is my aiming cursor so dark? Do I not know where my gun is pointed? :)
2. I found six guns, why won't the villagers take any potshots at the zombie horde? Even if they only shot at the close ones, it would be a big help.
3. There's not a lot happening on the screen during the daytime. I think some 'radio' messages from time to time would be something to read and build atmosphere (maybe hint at failed cure formulas too?)
If you want to keep the time limit, it'd be better if the zones were broken up into separate levels that you have to destroy in the time limit. It's tough to even see the whole game since it takes so long to level one region.
As a proof of concept, it's a solid "ok". A reason to move would be nice (enemies shoot back or armored on one side?), so would some variety in what I'm shooting.
I liked the plot and the gameplay, but for goodness' sake! Why can't I summon the next wave!? I think I spent half the game just watching my drones fly around by themselves.
