Gregory, great game and great tutorial. You have discovered a way to make learning fun for me and my oldest kid (he's 10, and has finished the first rite of passage on his own!) I have a "I'm too lazy to write" question for you; any way we can get the screen shots from the lessons in a pdf format? Yes, I'm too lazy to take all the damn notes I should be taking. Maybe upload to google docs or something?
I will not take offense if you berate me and tell me to stop being lazy, I can always make my kid write it all down!!

i agree with pretty much everyone here; could be a great game. Flaws in the controls and the collection system will ensure that I do not return. I cannot stand the ZXCV weapon usage.
When I start the game, the villagers disappear! Anyone else having this issue? I can see them on startup, but the disappear as soon as the level begins. I have checked flash settings, refreshed the game and browser with no luck.

I do almost the same thing, except i focus on the garage and survivalists. That strategy got me past lvl four in 8:20.
And yes, the most important thing is to build salvage yards to maximum as soon as you can!
