"Best" Gun gets worse each time you spend $2500 to upgrade it, both starting and ending up worse than a machine gun. Glitch starting on the fifth day blanks out the expected monster/shopkeeper bar each time a gun merchant approaches. Rating downgraded from 3/5 to 2/5
The mood of being alone in hostile territory is well set, and the idea of carefully deciding how to spend your time is a good one. However, the fact that you need only 3 items out of the game's VERY limited selection of gear makes the game very one-dimensional, and very short. 3/5
@ MRTN17: Flamers get shot up by the caterpillar bots & War Mechs before they ever come in range. So what you mean to say is... you finished the game with only upgraded flamers + tons of med packs. If at all. (P.S: Properly supported flamers are ownage!)
I'm not going to rate this game, but I'll say that an "idle game" is a contradiction in terms. This program, my friends, is a screen-saver that fails to save your screen.
The trick is to survive long enough to get a few medals... bonuses you get from medals will make the game significantly easier. I had good luck starting out as a sheriff, though with a shotgun you have to remember to reload after every shot for maximum effectiveness. The late game is very easy, your companions eventually become so buff that they don't need you anymore. Day 95, EZ!
