Anyone else see wave one of level 16 and just think: "Uh... ok, exactly what am I supposed to do to stop them?" You can use magic, but that only makes things worse since you need the mana to cut-out. I ended up having to give up on actually stopping them from touching my gems, and use infernal magnet just to survive the level...
Upgrading the Hero is much more useful than I anticipated... a hero with good HP and attack can deal heavy damage to large monsters. If you are having trouble, try upgrading the hero rather than your towers.
It seems to me the was more an exercise for the developer rather than the gamer... there were some very creative 3D shape rotations in this game. For the player, though, the entire game consists of moving your mouse to a spot on the screen. Doesn't exactly take a genius...
Quite boring, and lacking anything innovative. I'm amused to see this labeled as an "art" game, simply because it is not very good. There is nothing artistic about this piece... I suppose people here at Kong must simply associate the label "art" with mediocrity. That's a shame, considering there are philosophical works like "Fixation" which still provide solid gameplay.
I think you people are a little confused... all this game borrows from Kingdom Rush is the concept of soldiers on the path to delay enemies. Everything else in this game: The mana pool for casting spells, the idea that you protect several instances of something that the enemy is trying to steal, the format of the upgrade tree, the idea that there are 3 distinct towers that cost successively more to place copies of... it's ALL taken from Cursed Treasure! This is a Cursed Treasure clone, not a Kingdom Rush clone!
A good game, but it borrows a bit too much from Cursed Treasure for me to rate it 5 stars. (To clarify, Cursed Treasure is an awesome TD, it's the "borrowing" I don't approve of)
Memory storage set to unlimited. Still getting white screen errors. Something to note... if it's not the developers fault, as they say, I wonder why it only happens with their game? Either way, that's the last time I hit a nice fat store only to have the game crash as I'm leaving (You are sent back home with nothing, but the store still locks for 24 hours)
