Hey, haven’t seen you in a while. I’m envious of you for learning AS3. I still haven’t learned it. I guess I’m too lazy.
Your game plays very well: good hit detection, firing mechanics, etc. If you tweak some of the graphics a bit, it would look great! I also see you added different power-ups, such as the ‘charge up’, health, etc. That’s a great idea, making the player want to earn them. Maybe if you make it level-based, with bosses, the game will be throwing new things at the player, keeping him/her attached.
I’m actually making a game quite similar to yours. It still has about a few weeks’ worth of tweaking until it’s finished. Also, I have YETANOTHER game that I’ve been working on. I was needing a second opinion on it if you wouldn’t mind. I’ll whisper the link to you.
