"Your first ending made you violent!!!" X.x I swear I didn't know what I was doing! I was attempting to drag the man to safety, away from the crashed vehicle that may or may not explode from fuel leaks and sparks from the electric wires. Honest!
Okay, I figured out why my soul gem didn't work. Apparently, you're not supposed to drag your soul gem onto an equipped item, that just makes the character use it and pop up a message saying click the equipment you wish to bind. Unfortunately, this message can be hidden behind other menus, so I did not see it, and ascended without clicking any item to bind. I'm now short 1000 gems because of this horrible UI design.
Against my better instincts, I continued playing this game even after all it's flirtatious attempts like "Have you been working out?" and "I bet you sweat glitter!" and "May I have this dance?" Then, I kid you not, the game told me "It's a girl!" WHAT!? What's a girl!? Did we make a baby?! What the hell was going on every time I clicked you?!
The key to most bullet hells is overwhelming firepower. This one is no different: damage, projectile, fire rate, and reload speed are key. Grab some vision (aka range) and move speed to speed through the levels faster. Then grab some protection if you need it for survival. The rest of the upgrades? Kinda meh. Penetration is great for killing enemies if they happen to stand in a line, which is good for levels, but bad for survival since survival enemies are all around you.
I really dislike the twins mechanic in this game. It worked for swarm sim because units always cost the same price, but here the price grows exponentially. Thus if you buy lots of units before getting the twins upgrade, you end up stuck with very high prices and very few units. It effectively penalizes you for buying stuff before you get lots and lots of twins upgrades.
Please add a confirmation box for reset buttons. I've lost count of how many times I have accidentally clicked discontent buttons while trying to grab a cow or something. Then I lose all my progress for small amounts of happiness on things I don't use. :s
GAH! My minesweeper instincts keep killing me! I'm used to right click = place flag on mine, while left click = cell isn't mined. Here it's reversed X_X.
"Oh that artifact of forbidden power was the reason why the bad dude could be so bad. But don't worry, it's in good hands now. Mine. MWAHA. MWAHAHAHA. MWAHAHAHAHAAHAHA." Oh wait, he didn't do the evil laugh. I was totally expecting it at that point.
Oh thank god we don't have to bring the goblet back out of the dungeon. I was pretty much running on fumes at the end, being chased by dozens of elementals and fireballs, with all healing items and teleportation scrolls used up, and surrounded by an ocean of lava.
Haha, congrats on your win :) I've tried to make the last levels difficult to the point where you can't even clear them like the earlier levels. Generally when I play, from level 13 onward is just an adrenaline and healing item fueled race to the goblet. I can only imagine what happens to your character after you win, since like you I'm surrounded by enemies at that point. I hope the legends are true and it actually makes you immortal or else all my guys are dead 10 seconds after touching it!
Wow. Incredibly bad placement of the ok button when moving ships. "Click the planet to move!" and right under the button is the Lagea planet, with no way to cancel a fleet movement. Now I have to wait half an hour before i get my ships back.
"It's not my fault!" It clearly is, seeing as you are definitely stepping on the gas, otherwise friction and air resistance would have stopped your car long long before this lol.
Hi, and thanks for the input. This is a criticism that we take seriously, we don't want to throw away any sort of planning or strategy that the player might need to make by taking away the random aspects of the game. That would be like making every 5th piece in a tetris being a line. But we do recognize that in later levels of the game dodging wall after wall of whom's opening are on opposite sides is rather frustrating. We are working on a solution that hopefully will be seemless to the experience, and it should be up tomorrow.
With that being said, hope you enjoyed the game, and will stay tunned for the updates to come!
Stay strong bro... :)
