My favourite technique to destroying an enemy turret is to emp blast them and continue on with the laser beam or plasma cannon and then finish them off with a proximity charge. Just in case you're ever in a tight spot with one.
If you don't have an army and you only want to fight someone one on one face a wall and turn to face and enemy as he comes from behind you. It also stops archers from hitting you. it's a great way to avoid losing health to a sneaky bastard you're not fighting. :)
Farmer: Ma what happened to the field? And where are my cows gone?
Ma: I dont know. Some ufo or somtin took the cows and replaced them with a massive golfball and some rainbow drops.
Farmer: Damn hippies.
This game is so well made and so much more creative in design than any other that i have definitely got to give it 5/5. Congrats on the fact that we finally have a decent miniputt game. :D
If you become a great mage through the white robes when the neutrl mages aproach you challenge them as your ranking immediately becomes one. therefore you don't need to challenge everyone in the arena and you can focus on your skillpoints. (even though you get more skill points for beating mages)
I recommend getting stamina up fast. Then work on speed as it is easy to get up. then reactions and health (try to maintain it at around 40-50) Agility is also quite useful with hurdle tracks.
