I've seen this suggestion several times, it's definitely a good idea. I've put it on my list, but it may not be in the initial release of GQ cataclysm.
I got to level 20, around which point the year/week/months all reset to 0. Now I can't join ANY championships (the schedule is blank), the year increases every 4 weeks, and when trainer battles appear their monsters have all 0 stats, 0 health and are impossible to kill (and also don't attack).
By artificially inflating the rating through incentives, you're attempting to take money away from honest developers who win the prize money by virtue of having a better game. To counter this, I'll (along with many others) give it a 1/5 until you remove these incentives.
Most important game tip: Spend ALL your money on stamina until it's 120. Don't spend anything on weapons/armor, you'll get plenty as you play. If you don't do this, you'll end up having to spend much more money maxing it at higher levels.
If you buy items by clicking once then moving them to your inventory (instead of double clicking), the item will be restocked if you close and open the shop.
Few tips for you optimizers: you can return cheerleaders and pets for a 100% refund, and when you upgrade your equipment you get 100% of the value of the old equipment taken off the displayed price.
Good: Having everything accessible from the right click menu was a great idea.
Bad: You can't see your health or mana while traveling without opening up the stats window. This makes attempting to heal by running around somewhat frustrating.
