Is it possible you could make it so the bestiary shows relative stats like most bestiaries? i realize that stats improve throughout the mission but maybe a starting stat.
yoranstern, perhaps a better idea would be to allow players to sell mallpoints, which will create a self regulating market without flooding the market with mallpoints and destroying igg's monopoly of mallpoints. When it is based on a player market people still need to buy mallpoints to bring it into the game while free players can also get their own points.
chest armor does work its just auto calculated into their damage with a min of 1 damage. If you want proof try selling one while there is an enemy with at least 2 damage visible.
might i suggest making ring of life 15% of base health instead of current because then it wouldnt be super powerful but would still be a really nice powerup.
if greedy doors request health do it because the item you get can be sold for more health. if the greedy door requires swords or gems never do it. if money it is sometimes a good idea.
Zanguv, id disagree that this isn't original, sure there are tons of wait-and-play games but i have never seen one with as much control over unit design. To me that is my favorite part and it adds an element of originality to a dead genre. a genre that i figured would forever be dead.
