You can sell items by dragging items out of the inventory window. Skill points are used by talking to the mage lady in southwest part of town. Quests are given by the archer guy in the north side of town. I preferred the staves with the 10% hp drain. Along with the right click skill to root/attract enemies, this made any melee enemy / group fight easy. The space skill of teleport just made moving around faster. Late game (difficulty 5+ stars) I was focusing just bringing up crit rate, to match my dps with enemy health growth. I tried to find a weapon with 1. hp drain 2. crit rate 3. defense / max hp 4. attack speed.
In terms of improving the game, there's pretty high CPU usage when there are several enemies. The gameplay gets a bit tedious after awhile, it feels like I'm breaking more boxes than actually fighting. Consider having fewer boxes, but greater coins per box.
List of artifact upgrades in case anyone wants to know all the unlocks.
Level = Artifact level.
1: Flat turret damage upgrade *4 / level
2: Flat health upgrade upgrade *2.5 / level
3: Flat critical chance upgrade +2 / level
4: Turret critical damage *2 / level
5: Total damage *4/level
6: Total health *2.5 / level
7: Ability Resource "Give a chance to obtain rare resources when using abilities"
8: Dread health "Increase your base health significantly (multiplicative)" Doesn't seem to be doing anything.
The flat damage (1) and total damage (5) are the most worth it.
Gamblers Forge blocks the Close button after it is used. It'd be nice if the Close button was still available, instead of having to close using the button in the sidebar.
The copper refining will jump to a negative number and then reset to 0 under certain conditions. If the amount of refined tungsten is less than the required smelted copper requirement, the refine -> smelt copper process does not occur. However, if the amount of refined tungsten is more than the requirement, the smelting seems to occur and subtract the required refined copper from copper.
I would check the logic around the copper smelting and make sure that it's not using the refined tungsten instead of the refined copper as a check.
Multishot chip adds a second projectile to the main turret, but it does not appear to independently target from the first projectile. I see the additional projectile graphic, but they hit the same target.
I expected independent targeting, similar to how the other turrets work. This is with a Tier 1 chip. I have not gotten to Tier 2 yet. Is this the intended behavior?
For skills, prioritize hp or armor > cooldown or dmg > shield block > restore full hp. Exception is that occasionally, the level up gives 2xvalue (+2 hp / +2 armor / +20% cooldown). Always take the doubled skill. Try not to take the restore full hp unless you're about to die.
You can farm mobs during bosses. Do this when you have x10 for gold. The red troll is good as it will regen hp from fireballs, hitting bee hives, and certain mob kills. Once you get the boss in the middle, go around the outside circle killing mobs/healing, alternating directions as necessary and using the dash skill to jump over mobs to get healing items.
Ogre king and sorcerer bosses are okay as well for farming.
Using this method, I routinely did 100k+ gold runs, and only stopped because gold farming got tedious.
Use the sword skill to reduce the hp on high hp mobs. The dash skill to jump over enemies or get to heal cards. The armor heal is good once the cooldown is lower.

The game is freezing for me when I reach Union Bridge (can still hear sound, by game doesn't progress to the next section). It flashes Level 1 a few times and then just gets stuck. To reproduce, just play till Union Bridge, happens every time. Good game otherwise!
Thanks, will correct that.
