Fantastic adaptation of a classic. Although it is grinding at times, patience will pay off. I would like to be able to 'sell back' some upgrades because you don't really know what they do or how they work until you see them in action.
Need a progress bar or objective. Wandering in the dark without knowing if I need to find more or if I am finished. Could use some level-ups such as double jump or increase light radius.
Glad to play games that do not involve 'moon-logic'. What held me up the most was you sometimes had bump into an object twice, once to interact, then a second to use an inventory item. SPOILER::: I kept looking for gas to power the motor for the door, a clue of "If only I could generate 12volts (standard car battery)" or once you get the wrench/spanner, "This looks like something I could use to connect a battery". The cafe is a good red herring, but signs trying to lead you away makes me more curious and believe there is something hidden there.
Thanks. In my previous game, one thing people commented on was wanting to read the description for an object before using an object, so that's one of the reasons for needing to press twice.
The first press is to LOOK at an object. The second press is to INTERACT WITH/USE OBJECT ON.
I tried to make descriptions give enough clues about what you need to do next, but I'll seriously take your comment on board in my next game.
The cafe was originally going to play a role but wasn't used in the end. It was actually only kept on because without it there was no logical sense for the amusement park to be open.
The two places I got stuck: PADLOCK- I was able to determine the numbers used, but didn't see any clues to the order (just used random combinations til it worked). GRAY KEY- Although drinking blood isn't "moon logic", I didn't see any clues/hints to tell me that I needed to get blood then drink it in front of the mirror. The graphics of the fishing pole were odd and I wasn't sure what it was at first. Maybe add a photo of the man fishing with it for a clue. Everything else was great and I liked the game.
Hello, does you character shoot arrows? does he have a name? how many hp does he have in the roster and how many in the game? This might be an issue with the character creation
I'll do my best to make the game's mechanics and concept at least a little more clear ;)!
