Great game, but the flamethrower actually makes it harder, not easier. The fire travels slower than the bullets, so if you have a decent team built up it almost never helps you, and because it lingers in the air it makes it difficult to see incoming enemy bullets.
Great game! I'm at 99% completion. There are two impossible things that keep me from getting to 100%, though, and I really hope you fix them. Level 4's golden trophy requirement specifies that you only use 3 guinea pigs, but since there are 3 barriers you have to explode before getting to the animal, that's impossible to do. The walkthrough shows it being done with 4 hamsters, too.
The other even more frustrating thing is that it is impossible, as far as I can tell, to get the golden animal on level 47 and also complete the level. The only gap a hamster can fit through to get to the animal is the one furthest to the right, but if you destroy the wood barrier covering that gap, you can't complete the level. This is really, really frustrating, since it prevents me from getting to the final reward in the gift shop.
If you fixed these two small things, this would be a perfect game. Thanks!
Revised version of former comment- Don't get me wrong; this is a 5/5 game. But for the love of all that is right in this universe, PLEASE find a battle music loop longer than 4 measures.
Don't get me wrong; this is a 5/5 game. But for the love of all that is reasonable in this universe, PLEASE find a battle music loop longer than 16 measures.
You'd think being a classical musician would always help me, but I have to say your rendition of Mozarts symphony in G minor really threw me for a loop.
Flash developers often use short loops to keep filesize down. I know it can get grating, that's why there's an option to mute the battle music.
