Not a great game. A good idea, yes, but the execution ends up making it not so fun. For those having trouble on level 58: use lightening, then time, then shortshield, and repeat (credit to Mr. Undead). It makes that level a piece of cake.
A pretty good game, despite how simple the concept is (or perhaps because of how simple it is). That being said, it would be so much less frustrating if you could control the lights using your keyboard (maybe number the lights 1-5 or something like that).
Game breaking crash: On Level 5, flash throws an error on "Movie file not loaded", causing the game to freeze. Unfortunate, as I'd like to see how this one ends. Seems like it was a nice (if short and easy) game.
(Judging by the comments, the issue is probably due to using 64-bit flash. 32-bit flash is a bit hard to come by these days though, on Linux.)
"It's like a bad game" -- main character, level 4. Yep. Ok concept, bad writing, bad engine. the physics in the game is rather a mess, and that lorry part...
The concept is fine, and the level of detail is quite refreshing. Unfortunately, the horrible AI killed any promise the game had... Typical AI moment: archers being attacked by swordsmen: "Let's run in circles and die!"
Another insipidly uninspired Papa game. At least this time there's a code to bypass most of it -- thanks OnSiteFTW! Using the code almostpapa, you can start at day 99, level 30, with 34 gold customers. Still takes 1.5 hours or so to get the last hard badge (even when serving up raw pizza to the customers that are already gold).
For those working on the hard badge, there are a couple 'qua' prefix words missing from Mmmchips' list in the Best Comments section (quadratrix and quadratrixes). You'll still need 1 more word, probably based on suffix -- WalesThug1 has a nice list. A complete list for qua: quadplex, quadplexes, quadratrix, quadratrixes, quadrioxalate, quadruplex, quadruplexed, quadruplexes, quadruplexing.
Yet another insipid and uninspired clone in the Paps's series. Yet another BotD on one of them...
For those looking to get the BotD as fast as possible, it's probably fastest if you make a bunch of raw burgers at the start of the day, and provide well assembled burgers fast, given that speed, assembly, and cooking are all weighted the same, but cooking is rather time consuming.
Hmmm... This seems like a problematic bug. After having the game closed for a few hours and tried to continue my previous game. Instead of loading my game, all stats became NaN, and all map icons are now unclickable. The "free gold" tab at the bottom is clickable however, but just resets clover count to 0 from NaN...
Weird, first time I hear of that, which makes me guess an internal Flash engine issue. I'd suggest to be sure you Flash player is up to date, if you're not on windows, that might be it as well.
NOTE: HARD BADGE IS BROKEN. Off screen enemies drop invisible bombs, your hitbox is taller than you are, dead enemies can still damage you (boss 1, dead wolves), enemies glitch through the ground on occasion, money resets on continue, bullets blend into the background, etc. Terrible game. Why is this a BoTD? Why does it even have badges? Also, the dev was incredibly lazy -- just used 1 sprite for bullets going in both directions, and thus bullets going left travel backwards -_-.
This game really needs control customization. Pressing 4 keys at once can be a problem for some keyboards, particularly when using arrow keys *cough* G510 *cough*.
A classic. Such a fluid, well executed, and well suited design for the game. Likewise, the game manages to keep the core gameplay fresh throughout. without resorting to introducing more mechanics than the original 5. 5/5
It's amazing to think that this took a year and a half to make (per the credits). Almost no depth, no semblance of a working economy (I can repeatedly dump narcotics on a town and the price never drops), and relatively little story line. Plus, it's rather glitchy (the whole not healing unless you attack after leaving town thing). And for that matter, your guild choice doesn't seem to affect your interactions with anyone. It would be a skip if it was not a BotD.
Pretty terrible. The dialogue is bland, the animation and sound are terrible, and the interface leaves quite a bit to be desired (small buttons, can't unclick anything in the inventory bar). Sort of looks like it is stuck in the 90's in terms of design...
A pretty fun game. The weapons are certainly creative, and, excluding the tommy gun, pretty balanced. The story is a bit lackluster, however, and the extra campaigns, while fun, add very little to the story. Still, for a flash game, 5/5.
Quite boring. It really just takes the original Doodle God, adds a few more combinations, and calls it a day. The Puzzles are an OK addition, but the "quests" and the "artifacts" are seemingly just tacked on. Also, pushing social integration down players throats at every turn is off putting.
This game is a great concept, really. It could probably use a developer-made campaign, but other than that, the idea is great. The execution on the other hand... Well, it's incredibly laggy, the doppelgangers aren't transparent making it very hard to see where you are, the controls are unresponsive, you can glitch through the floor (ride a rail down toward the floor), and the coin system... That system... Totally just a cash grab. If I find 5 +13 coins (as determined by the dev's algorithm), why do I only get 11 coins? Well, because the devs just want to keep coins artificially scarce to push gems (i.e. kreds). A better way: make the game better to attract more players, make your algorithm account for coins nearby, and give players the full value of the coins. The worst part is that these devs aren't new, and they are *more than capable* of making a great game.
Really glitchy. The no mortar reload issue for the enemy is quite annoying. I ended up getting the BOTD thanks to another glitch, where a soldier just started floating right, not firing and ignoring all enemies, capturing their ground.
