Nice concept. Needs goals, different pricing for properties & bonus for standing/p.s., maybe, as some folks stated, an opponent (could be difficult to make) and some - you know, "keep me playing" aka "just one last achievement/property/level/etc." :)
Sorry you encountered such a difficult planet early on. :( I hope you will give it another time some times, the enemies and the galaxy layout is different when you start a new game, and you might encounter planets with different weapons at the beginning. If you do encounter a planet with missiles again, I would suggest saving all so your shields (or other defensive weapons) to deflect the missiles, and maybe concentrate the fire on the missile weapons until they break. I would like to see some stuff in this game:
1. Stats as they are found e. g. in the x-series. Show the amount of ore needed per minute, if production is too small, show it in red etc.
2. A sell-button in the inventories to directly sell items (for a lower price, of course).
3. Some working for the ballance (as arigold16 mentioned).
4. Some working on the graphics ;)
Sometimes the game stops when a battle is won or a chest is opened. It simply gives no message of success and stays like this. Only "Leave adventure" works.
It would be cool to see where I am on the map.
And some hints, in which direction the crystals are. As it is now, it´s a "run around and if you´re lucky enough, you will find something".
Thank you for the suggestions RockRebell, I'll add the locations of the crystals to the map and some drawn on arrows to the floor, like map markings, to guide players a little bit more. I tried to put in enough guiding elements, the ability to jump just high enough to see over the walls, the cardinal directions in the sky and the map that you can open at any time, so that the player isn't just running around aimlessly, but I'll try to make the path a bit clearer.
Sir, you have acomplished an extraordinary game. I just browsed through your other games, did read your statement "developing dumb games", and I can only say that IF your games where the dumbest here on Kongregate, we would see 5 star ratings all over Kongregate.
Your games aren´t dumb. You are a brilliant dev and your games clearly stand out of the crowd.

This reminds me of those textheavy adventures back in the 80´s C=64 aera. Tainted olive seems to me as one of those little precious gems here on kong. Thank you for this one :)
