My strategy:First thing to get is a machine gunner, let him get crates if possible. Next, an engineer and put a trench in the middle of your line. Put Machine gunner and engineer in trench. Next, get an officer put him near your engineer/machine gunner. Get a bunker right behind trench with a little space, put your machine gunner in it. Choose whether to hide your officer in bunker or between trench and bunker. Do whatever you like from there :)
Also, to those who say that your soldiers move too slow, its a defense game! You only need to get your first 4 soldiers into position, and then anything you make should have enough cover fire to move up.

Okay... you know whaaat, screw this. Can't you attain your daily dose of LOLs through non-violent means? I mean after 37 deaths this gets pretty pointless. screw the violence, screw this grassy platform, screw gravity, screw that.. cloud, and screw this game, and screw you, and your sister, and whatever pets you may own at the moment.
