'Now you are dead' glitch very frustrating, especially when I can see my health and base are fine.
Ground cleaning would help in survival - can't see the enemies for the blood splatter and wreckage.
Otherwise, pretty fun.
I can't believe some of the comments that have gone up here. It's a great idea, and not badly executed either. I see people here comparing this game to CCGs like Magic, but they seem to forget that this is an online flash game. The rules are simple and easy to learn, there's enough cards to allow decent variation while not too many to make selecting a deck overly tiresome and complicated. The graphics are perfectly adequate for the game.
Well thought out and very playable. 4/5
I love the feel of the game and the simple controls although they can be a wee bit awkward. The music is fantastic and adds to the simple graphics to make a well polished and slightly creepy game. 5/5
I like the idea but the camera really needs to keep Fred centre-ish, as it's difficult to control him with the mouse heading off the game screen, and tough to pre-empt the environment. Irritating.
I like this game a lot, new take on an old familiar. Tricky though. My one gripe is that the ball should be a different colour to the bricks. It's just confusing.
Interesting concept, but largely just frustrating to play. The music works well with the atmosphere but for a game in which your defender may only really be hit once per life, the movement is just too clumsy and having no method of really aiming fire just seems ridiculous.
I love these games and really appreciated the originality in the targeting of weapons, the use of aerial photographs as maps, and the change of direction in a level. The only reason I didn't give it a 5 was the lack of any difficulty modifiers, and the powerups tended not to move around the screen as they were obviously intended to.
Good game.
Inventive and mostly enjoyable. However with four second minigames, there is no time to experiment with a control set. It needs to be immediately clear. Also, the goal needs to be achievable within four seconds.
However, I really enjoy the game.
Fun but I think where it falls down a bit it is the view is too tight - to really attempt to account for the next steps you really ought to be able to see more 'rooms' at once. A more zoomed out approach would make it more manageable.
