The trouble with getting large parts, is that the large battlecores are only 4 parts, and its rather easy to destroy the shell entirely. A part needs to stay on the core for it to drop.
Perhaps not the most impressive, but its my own ship.

I always move my city to the high ground in the bowl, then immediately build three blasters to cover half of the high ground. The creeper will spill over on the other side, but you have a little more time to work with. Still, don't delay, and as soon as you can, cut the creaper in two, liberate the high ground, clear the bowl. You have a long fight ahead
