Good concept but still lot to improve. First of all the turns should go either round based so everyone alive hit 1 time and then move to next round OR there should be some sort of timer/speed how fast each character can attack. Second thing would be adding more items and getting new items either as drop or on the store after you have finished some levels. Third major thing is the magic thing which is just stupid that you can spam them, I didn't use them at all tho but tried to just find out that you can spam as many times it as you want.
Additionally story to follow would always be nice and also I'd like more challenge and longer game, make some levels impossible with certain heroes or with too bad items (if you change/add more items) and maybe few more heroes would be nice too. Also when the turn thing would have been fixed you could maybe add 4th hero too and see how it goes, not necessarily but just an idea since here you have only 2 skills you use at random..
can you really achieve that 9,223,372,036,854,775,807 damage dealt in single hit by stacking all those gores...? And if so imo it should be removed, its ridiculous to get attack high like that.
I know...it's a design mistake, and I want to fix it so bad, but due to the game jam rules, I can only do it after the event. So...right now, everyone is playing with this flaws and see how far they can get.
Fun game, lil short and quite easy tho. It would be fun to see next part of this game with more unit skills/specializations so you would actually need to think your strategy and a little longer campaign. 8 units total is already quite good in this type of game so no need to create more unit types imo. Also like many others disliked reloading I would prefer it to be removed and replaced with those lil more strategy needing options! In next part one improvement also might be that you could upgrade your units twice and the 2nd upgrade could be a choice of 2: for example more dmg, or more freeze with cost of reduced dmg etc.

Uh, wanted to try few things after i completed the game and I found out that after u got that "thor" guy maxed and u have 37 or more units total u can complete the whole game with just those... In the boss I was left with ~5500 (and the "hardest" normal island with ~700) :D Please balance it if u are planning to make sequel to this game :)
