Oh god, this game is hard as balls. Well, if you attempt to get all the badges from the get go using the Hard difficulty, which I did in about an hour of dedicated sitting behind my computer, the crappy crappy computer which likes to lag out at the worst possible moment to kill me.
Regardless, I love this game! I feel like an AI feeler racing down the circuits of the digital world. And now.. I play in Easy to relax. :P
A bit disappointing that there isn't a New Game+ option, I would ahve wanted to murder the enemy in one quick swoop, also fully upgrade myself as by the end it was just boring to grind for the ether.
A bit disappointing I can't simply just end the game with one or two sentences right from the start. Like "Aren't you a perfect machine?" and when it asks why, then boom "Then why do you hate me?" is asked.
I came here for Tower Defense, not for a shooter in the last two levels. Two Stars, because I liked the TD levels while the shooter levels ruined everything. :(
Wow, either my computer is crap or there is something else wrong with this, but the voice work is constantly stopping early and skipping to the next line and the gameplay, I feel like I'm on fast forwarded video everything is moving so fast.
What am I doing wrong in the Igloo Collection! I've dodged more than five bullets in a row, I've even dodged more than five in a row from one single enemy! And yet it still says I haven't completed the challenge... BULLSHIT!
Sprinting should have been triggered by an another button, like Shift or Z. And I should have been able to go right into a sprint out of a crouch, instead of wasting a couple of seconds and valuable score on pressing up and making my dude jump.
A human mindstate and Kurriri copies get trapped for the rest of eternity in the upload heaven of a race of jerks who didn't even try to reconcile with their creations, preferring for them to self-destruct, to murder each other. And the only human on the planet is trapped too, doomed to die either from his wounds, the cold, the local fauna or the fact that his food and oxygen supplies are going to be limited, nevermind other basic niceties and such. The "Good" Ending, ladies and getlement. >:[
To me the game looks relatively polished and plays well, the problems I have with it are inconsequential really. Mechanics wise, I want to be able to combine a full Warrior's Rush with the starting Maximum Rage Rush for doubled speed and looking like a flaming, roaring Titan head in "Maximum Raging Warrior's Rush". Aesthetics and such wise I feel that the developer missed a chance with Warrior's Rush, instead of drawing a bland glowing red tunnel when the player used Warrior's Rush, he could have darkened the backgrounds and such to near shadows, illuminated by a red glow. Along with that, I feel that there should have been a cutscene or at least a flash in the transition between the acid fields and the mountains when the player crossed the border while Rushing. In the mountains we're going Up dear monk, not to the right.
I need the ability to be able to hire a person with the traits I desire specifically, even if it costs double than what the third tier of colonist costs to hire.
You know what would be very nice to have in this game, something to cut through all the boring wait time. Even if I have to pay a boatload of money for it, a jump FTL drive plug-in would be very well received.
Something like 5% total energy or fuel (I prefer energy, it regenerates) per 100 Km for an near instantaneous jump in a straight line wherever the nose of the ship is pointing, with a nice FTL jump sound and VFX, maybe something like the hyperdrive VFX from the original Star Wars trilogy, the stars turning into lines and such, for a maximum of 50% energy expenditure in one FTL hop. That's 10,000 Km! :D
Not sure if it's a bug, but I sure don't like it anyways. The camera isn't properly centered on the Frigate, instead it's axis is moved around it's nose.
A suggestion, since we can easily get to see our cargo bay through the Ship Details button, how about replacing the cargo bay button with the Jobs button. That way we could keep an eye on the jobs we could do without needing to go to a station every time...
just press CTRL c, its already selected behind the scenes
