Scrolling up and down is more natural to more idle players then scrolling left and right. Within the first few minutes of playing your game I forgot that I was suppose to scroll right to see the different parts and just sat there for about 20 minutes thinking something would appear below the ones I could see without scrolling. Wasn’t till I hit the key to scroll right by mistake did I remember the instructions. Maybe have a reminder on screen of how the controls work or at least a little help button that would show the controls if the player needs a reminder.
I haven’t gotten too far into the game so I don’t know just how many different parts it has, thus even if you scale it there’s a chance it won’t all fit without removing some parts. Mind you, were you to stack them, like put them in rows, it would allow for the play to keep a better eye on things without having to scroll too much.
