If you can't get past 1000+ legit then how did you get to 1,800+? Also, thanks for the info on mages. I'll start adding poison to their staffs instead of int from now on. Can I assume that anyone getting to super high levels is just killing the boss battles and legendaries and skipping the rest of the level?
A few small bugs, but not bad. Keep working on it and smoothing it out. 1 bug that bothered me was mousing over the ninjas you can't afford makes a little red box appear instead of telling you any information about the ninja at all. Either give me info or don't, but don't give me a little red box. Also, faster waves. :)
There is a lot more interaction then a "choose your own adventure book" here. Very nice graphics, entertaining, and well thought out. English isn't even your first language? A lot of work was put in here, people should grade this much higher. 4/5 (only given out 1 5 ever, sry :)
Electric storm on wraiths = instant kill. I have a question. Do the bonuses on mage staffs work when they are casting spells? Bonuses like stun %, poison added, % chance to kill, etc. ?
I agree Neko, the only character I have found so far that seems worthless is the conjuror. Also, I don't see why you would use a barbarian over a warrior. I have played them both to decent level now and yes the barbarian's whirlwind does incredible damage but the warrior has cleave which hits almost the same number of enemies and he can wear heavy armor. I guess at later levels though the armor won't matter much with good health drains. Anyways.... conjurors suck :)
@Krystar -> Go to http://game-guide.me/2008/07/monsters-den-book-of-dread-walkthrough.html (Scroll down for a walkthrough on beating the 40 waves) Also there is a way to have unlimited money to upgrade your party for the survival challenge. Search around for it and you'll find it easily enough. gl.
Also, for all the people saying that clerics are useless... wth are you talking about? I miss mine with my new party :/ I realize that with a good party you don't need any healing, but that's not the beauty of clerics. They can wear Heavy Armor and casting Litany of pain is insanely devistating, especially on undeads. If I redid my part I would do cleric + 3 mages. Cleric in front with heavy armor as meat shield. She'd heal herself when needed otherwise cast litany and the 3 mages in back would just spam Electric and have as much mana recharge as possible. May have to try that group out and see how it fares.
How does the Journeyman's stone work, or what does it do? Says to combine 9 fragments which is exactly what I have right now but, how do I combine them? What's it do anyways? Btw... my party is 4 mages.. lol. Electric attack non-stop with huge amounts of mana recharge + health regen = tough to beat. Extremely hard for first 10 lvls though.
