yeah. that is a known issue that we have top of our to do list. work-arounds are to click the Porkifier items to reduce the number of Pigmen workers. Also turn down particles, and/or turn off sfx.
This would be great if not for the constant "Hey! Give us money for this thing!". I can understand that as developers you want money for your game... So just release it as an actual game rather than pestering people every 5 seconds to give you money on a FREE flash game website
Hi samboni, I understand the way of your thoughts, but you need to look at it from the our side too.
We are a small 25 man studio. Every new game we make is a big investment and financial risk for our studio. We understand that some players do not like to pay anything for games. We did our best to add monetization into the game in a thoughtful manner. You can play the game entirely for free but we allow players to pay for additional non-critical features. We hope you enjoy the game!
My advice to those going for the 4mil - Don't bring down the nuke. You can get more points in those last few miles than you get from bringing the nuke down.
In response to the developer comment posted on my comment before about keyboard controls - I realize there are the keyboard buttons for rolling the dice and ending turn. However, menus and such can only be navigated by mouse, which, considering how many menus there are to go through, kinda make the keyboard controls useless. Plus, even if we stuck only to the battle controls, a way to select what monster would be hit by using the keyboard would have been nice too instead of restricting this to mouse only.
I noticed that in controls it was mentioned that the devs wanted to add more keyboard controls but you said no.....Keyboard controls are NEVER a bad thing, a lot of people (myself included) prefer them when precision is not needed.
@mcschmidt Yes it progresses when not open
@AmISure Actually, it's not a glitch. The dev added it to balance out the effectiveness of auto-clickers. He intended for it to just be held down for faster bar.
Also, when I got to a large enough size to bust a rock and did so, the death screen afterward had a snake body section partially obscuring the menu buttons.
Nice game. Couple things I can say are to add keyboard controls in the menu, shop on the death screen, and a way to look back at the tutorial messages again without having to reset. Still a great game, just a little fine-tuning is all that would help at this point I think.
Why the hell are they putting the BotD on old games like this that by today's standards are so bad? I understand that at the time it was a great game (hell, I wasted a lot of time on this game back before it had badges) but now it is horrible when compared to newer games...
(Amendment to previous comment) It may have been because of the update to the game. I just noticed that there was a Reset Progress button added. Maybe set the prices to calculate based on number owned rather than number of times the item has been purchased? I know it's a simple logistics thing, but it might prevent bugs like this in the future.
I tried and failed to reproduce this, but when I came back to the game after having closed my browser a few hours before, all the prices had reset, but I kept my items. I have no clue what might've caused this, but it allowed me to buy 10 more Time Machines at the price of my first 10...
My only complaint about this game is that the synchronization between the commands and the sound seems like its a frame or two off, but considering the age of the game, it is amazing.
