It's a nice little puzzle game, nothing spectacular but nothing much wrong with it, the explosions were a nice touch. I'd give it a solid 3.5 but I can't so I'll give it a 4 instead.
It's a pretty good game, the styling is rett good, the levels are good, they look like you've put some thought into it, the AI is decent and originality is good. Some people say it's not original becaus it's similar to other "cell war" games which is like saying all TD's, strategy games or rpg's are unoriginal because there's multiple games in the genre, it's silly. You'd never confuse this for another cell war game.
I'd assume repairmen would have their own stocks of wood and iron, sourced from various places. You're right though, gold is valued too heavily relative to the other resources.
I like the idea of the bonus, that was spot on developers, I was going to go dwarves but chose orcs beause of said bonus, it's a nice way to get more people onto the darkness side without overpowering them, nice one.
Compared to the best game of this kind (incursion 2) it's a 3.5, it needs more variety and more strategy but it's a really cool concept. Looking forward to version 2.
Not really, I'm just saying that if they feel the need to attract an audience by having every woman in a sexually suggestive pose (I'm sorry, but showing every female prominently displaying large breasts is suggestive) then the game itself is most likely of poor quality. I'd be fine with it if men were shown in the same manner, but right now it's "Men are heavily armoured in fighting poses, women are scantily clad in suggestive poses". This is one of the reasons gamers are seem as immature perverts; games like this that try to appeal to them. I should say; good on the developer for promising to change it, if you're reading this developer my comments aren't directed to you but to the people who think it's okay for games to display all women as near naked with enormous breasts.
@Shadow: There's fantasy and then there's using women as sexual objects to sell a game. We as a community should not put up with the flagrant stereotyping and sexualisation of women. I could put up with the intro animation, or if males were portrayed similarly, but there are five women, all are shown with big breasts posing, are males shown in suggestive poses? No. There is no justification it's a joke. As far as I'm concerned it's simply an advertisement that the games content is poor.
I'm sorry but considering everything I said up to this point it seems that you just want to bash for the sake of bashing... :) But either way, I'm sorry this is bringing some negativity. I promise the next version will have some different intro animation, regardless of any prejudice and will be as conservative as it can be.
I find it really off putting whenever I see women with breasts bursting out of skimpy clothes. It always makes me think "They're trying to entice me with half naked animations, the game is probably poor". It's to the extent that I probably won't play because of it.
It's sort of meh, there hasn't been much improvement in the series, it's essentially the same as the first and the melodrama of it is kind of off putting. You expect me to get deeply involved in the politics of the game from the get go? Might be good for some but I'd rather be brought into the story rather than pushed into a text heavy melodrama from the get go.
Erix: When you stat boost it is permanent, so whenever you boost it will have the same effect. A 2% boost will always boost the stat by 2%, so if you take it when a skill is at 100 it will boost it by 2, if that skill goes up to 200 the same boost will be 4 even though it was taken at 100. It's just a constant boost, so it doesn't matter when you take it.
There's a bug that really should be fixed. When you hit two people with one shot (For example, hit two people with one hover-ball) you only get the xp for one person. So for th hover-ball you get 6xp instead of 13. It only happens every now and then but it is something that should be fixed in a game that has paid elements (no problem with that).
