To add to discostupids strategy: I like to use drones, especially if there's a deep pool of creeper near the emitters. They take pressure off your front lines and allow ultra easy advancement.
How has this got a rating of 3.63? It's pretty insulting to the other developers out there who work really hard to get a game up to that sort of rating. I mean, I get the anti-SOPA point, I just think that it's a load of crap that people would rate this higher than they do an actual game just because it makes a political point that they agree with. To be frank, I don't want to hear about politics here, I come here to get away from the real world, not to have it shoved in my face.
I'm finding that the enemies consistantly gang up on me. Like seriously, right now red and pink have their armies intertwined on my border, attacking me but not eachother.
There are very few flaws in this game. Very nice execution and its oh so nice that paying for it doesn't make the game any easier. The one thing that would be nice is a proper player run market (maybe in the style of dead frontier?).
It's lacking variety. The enemy types are ok, but it would be nice to have a few extra types, such as quick ones, flying ones and more ranged foes. There's definitely a need for a few extra guns, to make the player actually have to choose rather than just going with assault rifles, nade launcher and maybe a sniper. Guns like suppressive machine guns, flamethrowers and a few other versions of the standard rifle would be much appreciated. Aside from this the game is great, just needs more work.
This isn't a common style of game but I've played a few of them, all of which were better than this. You'd have done much better if you'd played those games, taken their good points, combined them with some of your own ideas and then made the game.
Considering that this game requires you to pay attention to it, it isn't an idle, rather it's an odd mix of a generic idle game with the game anti-idle. Anti-idle requires you to pay attention to it but it has far more features, had far more work put into it and is a far better game. With that in mind I can only give this a 3/5 simply because it doesn't know what it wants to be and the closest competition is far better than it. If the game's an idle it should be just that, something you leave in the background and only occasionally pay attention to.
I don't see why people are bitching about the premium setting. Premium only acts like an add on and without it this game is still easily the best TD game on this site. Besides bitching because someone wants to make an income and support their family is pathetic.
It could be such a brilliant game but a few things completely ruin it. The fact that the AI doesn't follow the rules takes out a good chunk of potential strategy, golds vital importance removes a lot of what's left.
The game is Plants vs Zombies minus humour. Gameplay is worse than in PvZ - tiles are small and almost invisible (I've missed the lowest row once, because I wasn'table to see it!). The attempt in storyline is completely failed (Fighting against someone who managed to get in a week an army to capture whole Europe seems to be futile). It doesn't even explain why do you need to prevent enemies from walking past you to capture some country... Well... maybe it what "active defense" means. In total - 2/5.
