I have everything but the fish. I see the fish; I have the hook; I have the fishing pole. I'm not being allowed to combine the hook with the worm or the pole. What am I missing???
Needed the walkthrough (had to look up on Bing as the one "provided" in the game doesn't work) in order to get the hammer head. Figured out I needed to shoot the door, but it still took a bit to figure out how to actually get out once the door was shot up. 2/5 because things just aren't too clear in the game. It would help if the cursor became a hand when something is available to interact with/pick up.
Ten years later, and it doesn't look like this game is any more playable than ten years ago. Like others have said, it would be nice to have a walkthrough. I've collected a few things and tried to interact with Ben/Bozo, but to no avail. He won't take the medicine, and he won't give up the magazine page. I can't find a key for the cellar, and the area with the big tree is totally unhelpful. Nothing is clickable, so why are we allowed to walk over there? No idea what the cleaner, the yoyo, or the broken watch are for. And I can't find a lighter for the cigarettes. *sigh*
THIS GAME SUCKS! THE ARROWS DON'T WORK! I've even tried the walkthrough and refreshed THREE TIMES to try and get the arrows "right," and it never is "right!" 1/5 for a truly CRAPPY AND SUCKY GAME!!!
This sucks. The walkthrough just goes to a comments section and when you finally find a link to a video walkthrough on that page, it loads up and when you click on "play," it says the video is unavailable. Great. I don't understand the pieces of paper. It's showing numbers to the power of "x" but some of them turn into numbers too large to use for the number code on the wall. So WTF am I supposed to do??? 1/5 because ainarsa's games are always too hard and confusing.
Too much random clicking. I wound up looking up a walkthrough on Youtube to figure out the last half of what I was "supposed" to do. Very poorly designed game.
The cop is extremely predictable, and you can start drilling as soon as he turns back to go the direction he came in whether he's still on the screen or not. Just stop whenever you see the shadow, and the second the person comes on screen, if it's an inmate, you can immediately stop drilling again. And after a couple of days, it's easy to know when the cop is going to turn back again and again. Just wait a second to see if the shadow comes back and if not, start drilling again. Easy. I broke out with 9 days left to go. Only thing that pissed me off was that I was almost done on the 10th day and assumed I could continue the next day where I left off (which would have been normal in real life) but no, you have to start all over with the drilling. So for that design alone, the game gets 2/5.
WTF?! I'm clicking on everything, and can't go anywhere. I've collected a bunch of things, can't combine anything, can't use anything. What is the point!?
Well, I give up. I am unable to progress. I cannot access items which are in things. I have completed the puzzle, and seen it in the dark (not sure the point of it), and cannot get any further than the book, the hat, and the cane. 1/5
-5 for unclickable objects and for having a second scene which is IMPOSSIBLE to complete due to it not recognizing that I AM "drawing" the symbol, and drawing it CORRECTLY!!!
FINALLY loaded, but very frustrating game. There shouldn't be a time limit. Even with the hints sometimes it's too random in clicking, especially on level 4. I got the "mild light" by accident, then timed out, and can't get the "mild light" again. Point & Click games shouldn't be this hard or random.
