What's the point in muting the music if the sound effects stay on?

Going back and doing normal after doing original and insane makes it feel insanely easy...

Started playing: Ok getting this impossible badge shouldn't be too hard. After beating the first 20 runner levels: Ok those ones were not that bad. After beating the rest of the runner levels: JESUS CHRIST THOSE TOOK FOREVER. After beating 15 skating levels: WHAT IS WRONG WITH THESE ROLLERBLADES. After beating the rest: I am never playing this again.

I felt sad that I already got most of the achievements before they were added...but then I realized I get to play this some more
