@Dr0x: I was thinking "luck can't be THAT big of a factor". And then I realized that it wasn't, due to how the points scale logarithmically. If that doesn't make sense, here's an example: if you have an internet on screen, you'll get an average of ~45,000 points per pair, but if you only have say a CD on screen, it's only ~800. And the lns of our scores are 14.7 (me) and 13.3 (you), which are really close =)
True that, digital upgrade is a puzzle / strategy game with a sprinkle of luck. But if you come up with varying strategies for all possible situations you can be in, luck will only play a very minor part in the outcome of your game.
nooooooooooo
I had two internets, two LCD monitors, and two hard drives ready for a combo. And then my board was almost full, and I had to place a piece that meant I could not win. And then the next piece had a hard drive >_<
The wasd vs. arrow thing is horrible. You need to have support for both.
Personally, I'm right-handed but use a left-handed mouse. There are more computer lefties than RL ones, I think.
When you blow stuff up, you fill the meter and when it's full you level up. :)
