A rocket scientist's diary; Day 46
We just tried to reach the epic height of 250,000 feet, but we crashed at 9,000 feet because we could not see what was coming, because the game wouldn't zoom out until we were high enough.
Day 52:
We crashed again the past few days, hitting boosters before reaching 25,000 feet. I believe the programmers are playing a game with me.
Day 53:
We are getting close to the 250,000 feet... Wait! Good weather achievement! That must be it! We did it! We did it! Out of fuel, whatever... Let's watch the statistics! Noooo! It was just about lightning... We only got to 250,000 feet!
Day 60:
Dear diary,
This will be my last words, I've decided to join the rocket this time. Either I'll suffocate in space or I'll crash to death. Then, finally, I rid myself of those programmers. Until the next space game...
3/5, very medium. Nice pictures, but the things that make the differences often don't fit in the pictures at all, they look like they have been pasted on it, making it fairly easy.
con·quer (kngkr)
v. con·quered, con·quer·ing, con·quers
v.tr.
1. To defeat or subdue by force, especially by force of arms.
2. To gain or secure control of by or as if by force of arms: scientists battling to conquer disease; a singer who conquered the operatic world.
3. To overcome or surmount by physical, mental, or moral force: I finally conquered my fear of heights. See Synonyms at defeat.
I looked it up too... It doesn't mean destroy, but defeat is quite close to destroy :)
