It would be nice if the snails and minebots were evenly spaced out or could be moved by the player, I have two mine bots that are stacked on top of each other and it's leaving a gap in my resource collection.
I'm still experiencing problems with the outlets causing glitches with heat and power generation, and unfortunately once it starts a meltdown is inevitable because it continues even when the game is "paused". There are a lot of tiny random glitches ATM but this game is, of course, still fun as hell. I just have to make sure I have a lot of money before attempting any changes, so I can afford to rebuild if everything explodes.
Are there any plans for an offline mode? I'm at the point where I have to wait at least a day before I can earn enough money to do anything, and I'd rather not have to leave the game open 24/7 in the background.
I had a whole comment written with all sorts of numbers and math about why the vents aren't working, but then I realized it's the upgrades that aren't working. I really wish I could delete old comments! Anyway I hope this gets fixed soon, I'm having a real fun time with this game :)
Still noticing a discrepancy in the ratings for heat outlets and vents. Even down to the most basic units, the 24 heat per tick vented by the basic vent should easily win over the 16 heat per tick pulled by the outlet, and yet if I fill my reactor with 1000 heat and set a single vent next to a single outlet, the vent builds heat more rapidly than it can remove heat from itself, and explodes. This seems like a big problem, and potentially breaks one's ability to plan for anything.
I'm not sure if the math in the game is adding up correctly, or it's possible I am not doing something correctly, but I have my Ultimate Vents upgraded (thanks to the plating) to remove 1.441M heat per tick, meaning 4 of them should remove 5.764M heat per tick from a single Ultimate Heat Outlet (which outputs 5.12M heat per tick) if they surround it. And yet when I place 4 heat vents surrounding a space, then fill that space with an Ultimate Heat Outlet, the vents immediately explode. I don't understand why, because the numbers appear to add up correctly. I assume I am misunderstanding a game mechanic under the hood.
I didn't catch the new update when I refreshed my page, and when I placed my Nefastium cell everything exploded because the heat exchangers no longer vent heat out of the reactor. D'OH! But this new build should make my last plan more effective just as soon as I have enough money to rebuild everything.
The way the auto clicker operates feels very counter intuitive. I currently have it set to 2 clicks per second, and instead of clicking once every 1/2 a second (like every other idle game) it simply waits until the 1 second mark and then double clicks. This puts a weird and noticeable hang on the screen every one second and makes it difficult to visualize the changes being made. Currently I have everything running at maximum so I can only assume every time the auto clicker kicks in it is leveling my recruits from 1 to 1000 and then ranking them up, but I have no reliable way of testing this. I can only imagine this will get worse as I upgrade the auto click.
I just noticed after my previous comment, I am on "inhabited planet" and the second mission says "get to the 190th level" but the bar reads 170. And as per my previous comment I am level 159/170 but the mission is still registered as complete.
There seems to be a problem on my end, even though my level is too low to be completing quest 2, it always ends up checked off as if I've completed it. Also when I click the 100,000 clicks button, it becomes a 10,000 click button when clicking it. I cannot confirm whether or not this actually gives me the proper amount of clicks, but it's something to check maybe. Also the stats page will not update the amount of purchased clicks until you save the game, return to the main menu, and enter the game again. Also I purchased a Talent Boost from the gem shop on two separate occasions. There are probably many more bugs but these are the ones I have noticed.
I don't click because it's a waste of my effort so I simply leave it idling in the background all day every day for HOLY CRAP MONTHS APPARENTLY.
my auto g/s is ideal at hellstone 117 and zeros out at hellstone 123. knowing that it's taken me this long to get this far and that the maximum is hellstone 2237, I really should just quit now...but this game has been a lingering part of my computer for so long I would feel empty if I gave up, now...
It seems to me like the more money you have on hand, the harder the enemies are and the less items, power ups, and gems you find. I have 100 health from gems and I'm starting to get killed within 3 dungeons on a regular basis because no swords are spawning, until I finally purchased an upgrade and now I have more swords than I can count...
The game was kinda buggy for me, the second set of graves never prevented me from ploughing the field, I never got the option to raise cattle or make flour or bread, and the market never expanded, despite unlocking the necessary skills. I liked the concept I just wish it didn't glitch out on me because I feel as though my experience was unfulfilled. But I can tell there is something fun here so I'm not saying its a bad game by any stretch.
If you're going to port your iphone game to the PC you could at least make it so it doesn't run like its on an iphone. There's no reason for the next sections to pop in as close to the screen as they do.
I actually have the Lost Treasure minigame 100% done, but it was a bit too intense to add into Week Two's storyline! It'll be waiting for you in Week Three ^_^
Yeah I need to reoptimize it. I must have messed up something when I changed the dynamic updater... EDIT: Fixed... kinda
