I'm getting pretty sick of this. I take out one quad dolorium cell and replace it with a solo nefastium cell to analyse my reactor heating performance which had been working amazingly...the reactor explodes in a second.
What's the point in having a ton of heat plating if it doesn't even buy you a few seconds to react?
I have a suggestion, sound effects.
I often let the game run while i do other things or I don't pay attention to the game fully for various reasons. If the game had sounds such as explosions or a klaxon if the heat exceeds a set amount (such as 80%), it would be cool.
What I hate is when you add in one more fuel cell as your reactor is functioning okay without heat issues and the reactor instantly overheats and explodes.
All I knew about chemistry before this game was that Camellia sinensis mixed with h2o at boiling point and combined with sucrose creates tea. Replacing the camellia sinensis with Coffea makes coffee.
Anmljd: I take it you've never played a game that uses a prestige system before? In games like this, prestiging resets your game and unlocks additional upgrades, such as Call of Duty unlocks better weapons and rank bonuses, this game can unlock better upgrades.
aguy: Yeah, like a sandbox mode where you can learn the basics of the reactor. I mean, I've blown up enough of these suckers to make Chernobyl look like a party popper.
Suggestion: SCRAM emergency shutdown upgrade.
In the event of an serious overheat, the reactor will automatically shut down, venting all heat and power stored, but rendering all or 90% of fuel rods unusable.
I've bloody had it, I have bloody had it. Since the upgrade, all of my designs malfunction. I was running a design with two double plutonium rods, the heat was running at non existent levels, roughly between 0 and 100. I switch out for one quad plutonium rod and my reactor instantly overheats, explodes and costs me millions to fix.
