Laila, have you tried using mana pool to get enough mana to make it return? If you cant save up enought just dont spend any on the last few waves. Also this is the way i got by it (i think it was the first) if there is no chance that you have enough mana for it to come around again and it is out of range with one of you field gems bomb it and do this with all of your field gems, it works.
L, just go and do chapters that you have already done, or get hobbits (not much of a help but good sword/arrow fodder) and also get Dwarves ( i could not have done that chapter without them.

the only thing i dont like (besides the glich to fire arrows without needing to press keys) is the loss of special ability. It would be useful as all hell for those elven archer line forces.
Seriously, it took me 4 or 5 paladins to break the line and win.
In the prologue it says that no one with ill intnet in their heart was spared but, it say that the "sons of destiny" had thives amongst their numbers.
WTF is with that? Is thieving suddenly good?
