Put a temple/evileye next to entrance, the continous fire ability makes it hit every ninja right as it enters the map. Specials effects still have their usual chance to proc off even if Assassin dodges. They don't seem to be able to dodge the damage from poison cloud and blaze
Darkness Energy Charge restores your energy at the price of putting you in darkness for a while. It has a high chance to fail unless you level it up. It failure rate seems to be increased while in guardian form or facing a boss. Lastly, that item that cuts negative effects time in half work on the darkness as well
