4/5, although I badly want to give it a 5/5. The game, although full of copyright infringement, is absolutely brilliant. It would be nice if there was some explanation that you only had to do the outside blocks of the castle, and not the whole thing, and the fact that the blocks in the boss battle act differently threw me off a bit (you can't bash them or use them as walls like regular blocks), but I had no problems with the multitasking, personally. Brilliant game.
This type of game only really works well if there is one unique solution to each puzzle. I only played one level, and there were at least two solutions.
Appreciate the effort though!
It's neat as a tech demo... I'm guessing these were made on Flash MX 2004 or earlier, though... some of these cursors would greatly benefit with some of Flash 8 (or up) filters. Still, they're pretty neat.
Well done! I was expecting the game to give me a bunch of impossible situations where two objects would fall simultaneously, but it was well-thought out enough that whenever I lost a life, it was definitely my fault.
Smart game... it contains enough of an element of luck that it stays interesting, but enough of an element of skill that you can direct your destiny, and more importantly, get better as you play a few games.
Neat idea for a game. Needs a heavy dose of polish and some clarification of controls, but there's a nugget of a good game in there that could be built upon.
It's interesting, that's for sure. Really, it's a game made for programmers by programmers. Many games are made by people who are artists at heart, and this is not one of them. A good brain-stretch.
Interesting game... hint for beginners is to start on the outsides, because there are certain pieces that you absolutely know which way they go.
I gave it 3/5. It was a neat concept, but not the best execution. I can think of a few game design things I'd fix with it (using Layer mode for the game movie clips to get rid of the alpha lines when the level fades away, a button in the game levels themselves to tell you about the existence of a mute button, etc.)
