Please add an alternative controls scheme. Playing with arrow keys on my laptop is distilled pain. I think many laptops have this crappy arrow keys syndrome. Otherwise nice one! Loved the propeller 'stache.
A nice and original game. Although it feels like a rough draft without any balance. It's satisfying to play, but very shallow. There is a lot of room for improvement. I would like to see a sequel. I came here to do a daily badge and stayed for 2 hours until I finished the game with all the badges. 4/5 good work
Great game! At first I thought it was kinda meh, but later I found out that the mechanics are really creative and there is much potential for a sequel for sure (I felt the game is too easy, could use some cranking up of complexity of the puzzles a notch). Didn't like how often you gotta be really precise with wormhole placement or the orb will get stuck, looks like a lack of polish to me, it's a minor complaint though. I can also commend cute sci-fi setting and a fitting soundtrack. 5/5 from me and good job.
Final boss crashes every time he reaches 50% HP. There is a long freeze and then I see the defeat screen. This is very disappointing, otherwise nice little game.
At first I thought "well this is fun and relaxing", but then a piano fell on my head bringing frustration, anger and hatred with it. I didn't expect this game to be so good. Claps for the great and very, very annoying soundtrack - goes just in the line of the game (pun totally intended). 5/5 good work
Guys, relax. I made only one mistake in the fog puzzle - I thought cicadas' chirping was the silence so I had to run through again. The puzzle is on the easy and obvious side (well, the whole trilogy is like that, but that's ok with me), but the presentation is good and pretty clever. The poem, the fog, the sounds - I personally really liked it (and had no problem with, they could screw it up easily but they did not). The ending was very underwhelming though so it's a 4 out of 5 for me. Well done!
Ok, now for a proper review. A great sequel that built up on everything that was good in the first part. New pixel-art look is truly awesome, I just love this kind of perspective, those cute skeletons and moneybags! Everything is in a very good balance, from the graphics and the UI to the gameplay itself, difficulty variations and new features. This game has only ONE drawback and that's its length! I'm just getting pumped of how awesome this game is and it's already the end! Make another sequel! ;) The game's concept is marvelous, I really love games that somehow hide boring algorithms and programming under the mask of a great puzzler and this one takes my favor among the others thanks to its casual light-hearted appear.
So, MrJinx, keep up the good work! I thank you for these hours of fun I get from your games! :)
Also, The Alchemy Lab drove me completely insane! I was like ARRRRRRRGGGGGHHHHHH!
My favourite puzzle game ever. You should go big and make something truly epic like Deadly Rooms of Death (which has hundreds of levels throughout the series).
Alchemy Lab is indeed challenging, heh. How about Chamber of Souls? Thanks for the review.
