I'm encountering a lot of issues with scrolling through my DUDEs menu. I have almost all and I can't access the most recently acquired ones (I'm working on getting all the ones that can be purple as purple).
I found out how to get Baleena. I'm having trouble with Hexat, though. I have a Level 43 Tetrat and I would assume that it should be able to evolve to Hexat at that point...I can't find the combination, though.
This game is fantastic. Excellent work. A guide would be very helpful. There's a few creatures which I think have another mutation, but which I am not sure about.
Also, how do I catch Baleena? I only see it in the deep surf, and I can't use my Dude catching devices there.
It's a nice game with good platforming. My main issue is the spelling/grammar issues. Also, the "mace" is actually a flail. Other than those nitpicky things, your game is quite good.
Also, how do I beat the lava golem guy? He has an insta-kill attack and I'm not sure how to avoid it. I'm also having trouble beating the later sudden death matches with the archers.
I like how the game runs, but the graphics feel like they're cobbled together from various things. You've got psedo-3D scenery objects, blockish pixel enemies, and so forth. Still, it's a nice start. I await the final version.
Wow. I love point and click games, but this goes above and beyond most. This is probably tied with Morningstar for my favorite Point and Click.
I'll be honest, I had to use a LOT of walkthrough help to complete this.
Second post today. I just finished the game and man, the ending was great. I was expected something with Ginny being revived and stuff along the lines of "they lived happily ever after", which would have been cheesy and totally predictable (although satisfying). Instead, I was surprised - somewhat, at least - I had expected Deuce to sacrifice himself and somewhat expected him to be saved through some magic power, but I didn't expect Starwish to show up. I picked the Bamboo ending, being that I loved Swig a little more than the others (except Johnny, who I loved more but didn't seem as needy).
Of course, I had to watch the other endings on Youtube. Apparently who you talk to does matter for the endings, which is a nice final twist - it's always cool to see that you didn't get everything and that there's more to do in a replay.
Again, great game and I really hope you make another, by which I mean a new game in a different (or similar) universe but not a direct sequel.
This is a fantastic game. I came to get the badge of the day and I was very surprised at how fun a space shooter was. The gameplay isn't extraordinary, but the story is brilliant. It's vibrant with plenty of strong, fleshed out characters who are interesting. Traveling through the story tells you all about these characters and you learn very surprising things about each and every one of them. The artwork is great and there aren't any visuals I don't like. Oh, and the female characters are great and don't have ridiculously sexual appearances, which is something of a rarity in anime/manga styles.
It's an interesting idea, but the biggest problem for me is that the green block can drop past the spikes if I'm falling just a little, which causes trouble.
Nice first game, though.
It's a good concept but this game is freezing between levels for a few seconds. My laptop IS quite old and wasn't designed for gaming but it runs a lot of stuff just fine.
I don't play many action games other than Platformers, so I'm always a little disappointed when a new Nitrome game comes out that isn't a platformer. Your platformers are always creative and entertaining. This is no exception.
