Ah, I see another clever author has cleverly removed all that nonsense with art and story and exploration and character development from the RPG formula and cleverly boiled the genre down to the nitty gritty of menu based combat. Very clever!
I like it. It's a bit of a PvZ clone but that's okay. Nothing is truely original these days. There is a serious mouse pointer lag problem though. I see this often on games that have "cover pointers." (They replace the normal mouse pointer with their own flash object.) There aught to be an option not to use the cover pointer on machines where this causes a problem.
It would be soooo much easier to equip tactical units from the store house instead of having to run back and forth between two different sub menues (complete with transition cut scenes admittedly) trying to judge the best equipment setup.
Allright. Upon further investigation I find some serious tweeking needs to be done in the tactical battle area. Any time you attack or get attacked at least 2 messages, an animation, some sort of floating number, often two and I think a weapon logo all try to fly past the same spot at the same time. Am I supposed to be able to keep up with all this? Since MOST of it is hiding behind a sign that says my character just gained XP I can't really do that.
that was kongregate's ads not mine game ads.
