Good artwork... Aside from the fact that there are way to many of basically this identical game with different art and story line, you are running into the problem that the need to collect money with the mouse does not work with the longer than screen map and slow scroll rate. Al
I feel like the recorded player movement thing is becomming as glutted a genre as the whole match three thing. This is a fairly solid example of the genre, and not a bad game overall. But nothing in it seems original.
How many versions of this game do we actually need? It's just not that great a concept in the first place. Seriously, none of these things ever do anything different. It's just like the tilt the car/truck/moonbuggy/whatever game. Sheesh. I'm not giving this a rating. I'm adding this to my list of "It's unfair to rate this since I hate the genre" game types. Though seriously guys, do something new with it... *sigh*
It's 'Flash script of the collossus,' written by the guy who wrote Kings Quest and narrated by The Sphynx. (The guy from Mystery Men, not the ancient statue...)
As shooters go it's not bad but nothing special. The ships look nice but the background is plain. The enemies get bigger and get more guns but don't have much variation, at least in the first few "levels." I'm assuming if I have a weapon maxed I have gotten a little ways into the game. I do appreciate the arrows indicating enemies off screen. Not bad at all for a first game, though you understand you won't get any special treatment over that. 8)
