Hmm. I think I can see what some people are vaguely referring to as lag. The game itself doesn't seem to lag at all, there's no high ping, etc. However, the graphics themself seem sort of laggy in the style that they're done. Instead of a fluent movement with your char (As any good MMO should be able to do now days.) it's done in increments, so I assume people are taking that as lag. Regardless, the game bored me to tears. Perhaps if they put some effort into the Beta, it'll be good later on.
Trule a wonderful game simply from the unique concept, delivered well and with good music. I'll give it a 4/5 for that, but.. Alas, I'm not much into this kind of puzzle game lately, so I can't 5 it. Perhaps when I'm in another mood, I'll see it differently.
Also, @ all the ridiculous fight over this or Steambirds being better.. I honestly prefer Mushroom Madness, but the guy who created Steambirds deserves the money more. Either way, doesn't matter to me who wins, and I wish them both the best of luck. Both good games.
Very easy, but fun none-the-less. 100% completed without 'too' much effort. 5/5'd for the sake of it getting at least 4/5 for a chance at badges and such xD And also, because it deserves to be in the monthly top 5, at least.
Why the hell did I say "thing's"? Oh well things* And yes, I usually avoid such things, but it's true : If you think this micro payment MMO should NOT get badges sign here: Dravon, CheeseMcGee, aking78, LocoViper, superman268, mycroft3x, Talak, Senretsu
Eh, at the rate thing's are going, I'm leaving Kong. As a game developer, I respect and understand other developers rights to make P2P games. However, a well known and respected collection of free games, has no business adding in so many P2P games.
Well, Sloomer. It's a big part personal preferance, but.. I prefer Rembrant the Bloody. Goblins are fast, get large groups fast and upgrade cheap. Comet is fairly powerful, especially earlier on. It recharges fast and, most importantly, can be used to draw the hero out to cheese him with a horde of archers, which sttun minions and do great damage early on. Haven't lost a single battle, almost beat it again.
@onemetallica1 I'm rather curious how you came to the conclusion 2~5 months from now made any sense.. When May~June are only 1 month apart. Strange logic there, methinks.
You know, using as much copyrighted material as this guy has to begin with, then coupled with the fact that he doesn't upload real games.. I wonder how he hasn't been banned yet. Wonder what country he lives in. Would be pretty fun to get him on infringement.
Apologies for the double post, but I felt it was necassary in this case. For the game itself, 4.5/5. Graphics are nice, game itself is fun, story's good, etc. As for the people who don't understand it.. Try basic logic. Such 'Dmaurice' below me.. First enemy. You might want to try USING YOUR WEAPON. kthx.
I'm growing rather dissapointed in Kong. A supposed child's site that's having an INCREASINGLY high number of what would be M rated games (Many with gore, games like this with nudity.) I like Kong as much as the next guy, but I'll be reporting the site itself, should it not either remove such games or add a Mature (18/21+) warning. Or, at the very LEAST, categorize the Mature games and give a Mature (18/21+) warning to the category.
Right, well.. *Flags the below comment.* Aside from that, he's right on a couple points, albeit unnecasarily rude about them. In anycase, a decent Mario game, but.. As per any fan-made, not the same. I 1/5 all Mario games by nature, don't take it personally. Wasn't bad.
Not my kinda game, really. Still for the type of game it is, it does what it does well. 4/5, and 5/5 for trying to balance out some of the babies who are crying over the fact that their precious little walk-through because they aren't smart enough to finish it themselves is on Facebook.
Well, the art is absolutely outstanding. I haven't played it yet, as I'm tired enough I need something a bit quicker paced to keep myself awake. But 5/5 for the art. As long as the story/game itself is worth going through, it'll keep it's rating. Bravo and/or Brava.
Well, cubelan. As stated earier, the entire game itself, is that of another game already on Kongregate (I forget the name, I'll try to find it later to prove my point if needed.) Every aspect of the game, from the C. Atk/Atk/Def and the way they work, to the types of poison/karma system, to the very effects of almost 'every' card in the game itself, is from another game. Though, used with different names. I never said the music was the CI problem (I'm aware that it's a bit from Shockwave-Sound, I merely forgot to clarify on that point myself). Though, I do still find it tacky that the game doesn't at least use 'original' music, even if they had someone else make it for them (I know not everyone is capable of making music. Only those of us that have been practicing for years.). Either way, Copyright Infringement is described as copying another creator's work, calling it your own and/or attempting to make money off of it. All of the above have been done here.
