This is a nice game. I must say though, the non-kenney graphics look squeezed and sometimes pixel-y, like you made them without the proper rations. Also, a bit more story would be nice. Maybe a cutscene here and there.
Thanks for the comment and liking the game! I believe that all the graphics, aside from the font, are actually from the Kenney art assets packs. The reason why certain things appear pixelated is probably due to the fact that I stretched out art assets to look like other things. For example, the clear glass assets are just regular buttons stretched out. I'm more of a programmer than artist, and I wanted to finally released the game after working on it as a side project over the summer, so I did not put any cutscenes.
I can believe I blew 100 freaking bloonstones on the first shipwreck level. It's a freemium that literally forces you to buy the crap out of bloonstones.
Just when I thought COOKIE CLICKER was the best idler out there... I feel like a zombie apocalypse survivor finding a safe haven... thank you, Hyper Hippo Games.
Does anyone else care that the balloon kid's unique powers aren't logical? Even if he WAS light enough for the balloon to slow his fall, space is a vacuum.
The tunnels do contain air. The technology that's used to emulate gravity is also capable of keeping air molecules from leaving. I haven't decided why it wouldn't keep the aliens inside as well.
Anyone looking for the badge of the day: Step 1: Play a few waves. Step 2: Upgrade mage of choice by click him then click the the +. Step 3: Click the poison path (skull and cross bones) Step 4: Play some more if you need. Step 5: Level up again, but with infect instead of poison (which will have disappeared). Step 6: Play a round. Step 7: Profit!
