Not what I expected from the game. I had fun, and it was well made. Also, unlocked free mode, which also wasn't what I expected. I would have assumed "Free mode" meant there was no time limit, and you'd just go whenever you felt ready.
So my Tank is taking 6K damage per round and has 36K health, allowing him to survive 6 rounds. My Cleric heals for 23K, allowing him to heal basically 4 rounds worth of attacks in one go. Yet he insists on healing every single round. Seriously, we need manual control over the healing.
I can definitely appreciate a developer that seems genuinely interested in listening to suggestions and improving upon a game that already has solid foundations.
Here's a little hint if you feel like the game is slowing down: Ignore Armor and Healing and focus on Damage and Health only. Round will be much faster and you'll level up faster, which gets you to your first prestige.
Armor and Healing have been significantly improved in todays update. To a degree where they should be much more viable in progressing (higher levels give incrementally more experience as well). I hope this balances the stats better!
A prestige would be nice, as some have mentioned before. Here's an interesting idea if you make another game in the future: Each unit creates the unit before it. So G4 would create G3, which creates G2 and G2 would create G1's. Of course you'd have to work on balancing the numbers, but could be interesting.
I can only echo the sentiments of most of the other comments. There isn't much here, but it has potential and you have to like a dev that keeps working on their game. I'll definitely be back to check for updates.
Something I've noticed is that games with low tickspeeds never seem to do as well as games with higher tickspeeds. I think it's just more satisfying to watching numbers going up in smaller increments dozens of times per second, rather than larger sums once per second.
So this game is definitely not worth the effort to get this weeks companion. It's far too hard. And not hard in a fun and challenging way, it's hard because the controls suck.
Solid game. Quite a bit of fun. 'd like to double gold for every 100 levels, as a sort of milestone, and to help speed things up a little bit. But aside from that it's quite a lot of fun to play.
