@Ogrea my current setup is just geared to producing power since I am at a point where my EP requirements to prestige upgrade takes me a week or more to get. Long story short I need more money so that I can put more cells down than I normally would.

Rayak Using extreme caps for prestige is actually hurting you. unfortunately quad nafastium takes less space to vent so technically you can vent more using them than a mix of them and extreme caps. I spent 2 days trying different designs and doing math on this and no matter what I did the extreme caps lowered my power per second and my heat per second. As it is Extreme Caps are a great idea but need extreme vents/inlets/outlets/exchangers to be truly useful.

@scorchx Actually you earn them from dissipating large amounts of heat because heat will always be your limiting factor. As for them thumbing him down, that question has been asked and answered at least twice daily since EP was added people are probably just getting tired of it.

gEasS_53 It is based on power sold/heat dissipated. Honestly though your limiting factor is heat dissipated since it takes the lower of the two.

I appreciate the fixes that you made and for changing your mind on how the extreme capacitors should work. I hope you get some good sleep but when you do come back please rethink the extreme coolant cells or maybe add some upgrades for it for those of us who have purchased numerous double heat prestige upgrades as those make the extreme coolant cell useless since you can't pull heat out of them. I understand the farther you go the harder it is supposed to be to cool these things but as it is getting the upgrades on the vents cost less and use less space than using uncoolable extreme coolant cells and by the time it becomes EP worthy to buy the extreme coolant cells vs upgrading vents you have already upgraded your fuel cells heat production to require you replacing those coolant cells every few minutes.

So after being forced to reload due to a chrome crash my reactor decided to release a burst of heat hotter than a billion Big Bang's. I think I can proudly say I am the father of a new universe. Unfortunately most of the Local Group had to be sacrificed in this achievement but hey gotta crack a few trillion stars to make a universe.

One thing that I just realized is that if you buy your normal upgrades just right you could use the new capacitor as an EP generator instead of just worrying about power With it you could generate more EP than using any fuel cell. It would work better if the heat exchangers worked but they don't so that's out.

Yea something went wrong with this update. Heat exhangers not working right, infinite heat glitch, and the new experimental capacitor is completely useless since it overheats even when there is no power being generated and can't be cooled. At the upgrades that I have now they generate 6 times as much heat as the quad protium cells. My only saving grace was the fact that I had an older version still open.

Those prestigue upgrade are insanely expensive. 500 to 5000 to 500k. It took me a couple of days just to get 5k and this game doesn't run while away so that's like asking us to keep running this game in the background for a year or more just to get an upgrade. Adjusting the scaling on the EP gain or the cost of those upgrades will go a long way towards keeping players interested.

I like the idea of unleashed fuel cells prestige upgrade but a prestige vent upgrade would go a long way in improving the balance that gets obliterated by this upgrade.

For everyone complaining that the exchangers and outlets are too powerful for the vents- they move 3 times the heat your vents put out when the upgrades are the same. This makes sense because 1 side is probably connected to something and then you move it to 3 vents. The outlets then allow you to move the maximum amount of heat out of your reactor to the exchangers as possible so that you can vent the maximum your vents can handle. Maybe this will help people with their designs and understanding on why they are as powerful as they are.

I am curious about this heat dissipated thing because I run 16 double nefastium cells that are vented directly and gaining 0 exotic particles. Does this mean that because my design lets no heat go to the reactor and puts out loads of money I am being punished?

Verkade: I did mention multiple times you would have to switch out the coolant cells every hour and a half. I also mentioned it was tedious but at the same time it would bring in the most cash possible even if it isn't the most heat efficient. Yes you miss that hour and a half mark and BOOM there goes trillions of dollars but if you can make that mark every time, which is technically impossible without sleeping, the amount of cash you would bring in would be of an obscene level. TBH the problem with using the nefastium cells isn't the heat its the space required for the capacitors. quad nefastium cells just produce too much power to be utilized effectively because of how much room you would need just to discharge it all.

Yes using cooling cells get you more money, as I mentioned before you can run the quad nefastium cells with replacing the cooling cells every hour and a half, but without a sell all it gets horribly tedious using the cooling fans just allows you to come in replace your cells real quick and then go back to doing something else. Once the heat sink upgrade thing is fixed and balanced so using higher plating is worth it then our designs may change again but right now it just depends on how much time you want to dedicate to replacement.

Sandoumir the design he showed is actually one of the most efficient money producers for idling. while putting them side by side does boost how much they produce it also makes them produce more heat. This means more space dedicated to getting ride of that heat which reduces how many of them you can do. Also on a side note neutron reflectors are useless since a fuel cell bombards adjacent fuel cells with neutrons and is bombarded in return.

For anyone saying you cannot use the quad nefastium cells. If you use 4 ultimate cooling cells then it will take the heat for about an hour and forty-five minutes so just switch them out every hour and a half and you will be fine. It is tedious but it is possible and you would be making around several trillion each switch if you do that with 24 of the quads.

When designing your reactor It helps to know that the single cells provide the best power to heat ratio, the quad cells provide the best power to space used ratio while the doubles are a balance between the two. This way you can get the most money out of your reactor based upon how much room and heat dissipation you have.

Maybe I am having bad luck but it seems to me that the gambling may not be 50%+ 257 rolls at 56% chance to win and I have only won 19. Other than that, and it isn't even a big issue and could just be my luck, This is a great game. I play quite a few idle games and this currently pulls more of my time than adventure capitalist and I play that religiously so hats off to you.

This would be a fun game if not for the chef's hand moving as if he drank the entire saloon out of alcohol. An upgrade to lessen it as well as getting rid of that rediculously random way the ingredients move would greatly improve the enjoyment of this game.
