I've been saying for a long time that the randomisation needs to be fixed a little (eg. max winning result for an attacking army in an 8v8 battle early in the game is is a 3 army carry over). Unfortunately though when someone like JordanAlixander raises this issue everyone downs the comment.

one thing that should be in the update is the ability to copy/paste chat so that when people are speaking a foreign language you can copy the chat into google translate. At the moment, people from english speaking backgrounds are at a disadvantage if players from non-english backgrounds are hatching plans in-game because english speakers don't know what they are saying but they know what we are saying.

note to everyone: wawah refuses to accept draw even though that is the only option. Instead wastes my time and his by playing on.

at Vicar and Nehh, maybe in the update Lopdo should make it so that you can't spawn right next to a player, that way Nehh's idea will work and help reduce the advantage of starting first somewhat.

falconbridge, you are 100% spot on. Seriously, Lopdo should just hand over this game to you to fix it up. A deterministic mode combined with the attacking number being one less would work together perfectly.

This game is 60% luck, 15% what order you are in the set of turns and 25% skill. I will definitely not be playing this anymore.

Most people seem to be missing the point as to why starting first is an advantage. It has little to do with the order of reinforcements and a lot to do with getting first pick at which territory to start at.

I know randomization is a main component of the game but losing four 50/50 chances in a row ( attacking and defending army of equal value) resulting in me losing four territories is very frustrating. It would be nice if the randomization could be fixed a little so the winner of the game is decided more by skill instead of luck.

There is nothing to be fixed about randomization, it is as random as it gets :) perhaps I will try to come up with new game mode, that will much less rely on chance and more on skill... I have no idea what it might be though
