maybe you should not use + signs, because the possibility of having two items in one box is much lower than having just one! (which means that sign removes a lot of options, which makes game quite easy)
From what I can tell, stencyl doesnt allow for any double variables, so for future updates I plan on just dividing the number a lot, so it never exceeds 2.1B and therefore never goes negative.
And he said pet function is just beta function and hatchling does not meant to be release now. But that is cheap excuse as well. If that pet function is beta and he thought hatchling released too fast, just make silhouette of the dragon at that skin, then write "coming soon" at there. You don't need show all of dummy data to player. p.s: Ray, you don't need to response every comments. you are developer, not warrior. If you think some comments are useful, just improve your game from the comments. It's better than reply every single comment.
hmm. seems to be copy & paste function does not work well in kong. so, the below comment is part of Ray's response of my comment, "why there is too much redundant hatchling skin?" Actually that hatchlings are made from color/hue change. It's very obvious! but from response, he(or she) said there is an art, which is just mere excuse!
I know an initial look at the hatchling art seems like hue/color changes, but if you look more closely there's more changes in the art going on within those assets.
(*) sometimes, having no sound and graphics is better than having poor ones. How about remove graphics? It would improve your game. For example, pets. Is there any reason to have more than 5 hatchling skins? It makes player to think you are out of creativity. If you like that hatchling skin, how about change the name 'pet' to 'dragon'? it would be more consistent!
Hey Shadow. Thanks for the feedback....The hatchling pets are not actually possible to obtain currently, and they are part of an upcoming beast system with 63+ skins. Technically after pet tier 20 (which will be extremely difficult) it's just skins of the beasts within the game that you can use or select. I know an initial look at the hatchling art seems like hue/color changes, but if you look more closely there's more changes in the art going on within those assets. This is even more true for the future skins that will be added after the hatchlings, as they evolve 7 times into more robust versions of the dragon beasts. Also keep in mind these are only 'tier' skin unlocks, they are not the only skins possible; and that entire 'skin' system just came out this month, and is considered in beta. -Ray
"As for p2w, there's nothing you can't achieve for free. The game is extremely generous with every currency. -Ray"
I don't think that is good excuse, ray. Because actually you earn money with the game which is poorly optimized, poor sound, graphics(*). You are trying to achieve richness for (nearly) free. Your game have a lot of room to improve. Rejected.
If by 'free' you mean working on this project the amount of hours I do, having my phone wake me at all hours of the night because any user is available to message me on discord at any time (f2p user or not, makes zero difference to us), and sitting inside on the computer during beautiful summer days when issues arise, or development is prominent, then I guess all the optional financial support the community provides is purely exploit of me. I tend to forget focus on micro-transactions for extremely long durations until the community pushes for "something new to buy". If I developed for money instead of enjoying my work, I would be tossing offline (virtual online) mobile games together like grilled cheeses or running campaigns like R2Games with server-merging and zero support to avoid dealing with ignorance like this ;) -Ray
But It's graphic is worse than flipline's papa louie series, which released the some of their game before year 2015. for upgrade, It could make sense, but that gimmick could prevent newcomers to play the game.
For medium-badge grabbers(like me): SPEND ALL YOUR AP. We will not play this program after having a badge right? then it's ok to spend all our AP for upgrading idle ATK. (since clicking is nearly broken in this game, just upgrade idle AKT only.)
