The romans did not employ armoured knights nor gladiators on the battle field. Egypt was not pharoanic at this time period and was hellenized to a high degree. As well chariots fell out of use, a long time before this game starts. Finally all the maps are incorrect, the empires never controlled that much territory ever in their existence, with only persia coming close to its historical extent. Rome controls germany and russia which is pretty funny.
